The Fix: Our 3-Step Process
Step 1: Drill
Small access holes were carefully drilled into the driveway and sidewalk sections that needed lifting.
The location of each hole allowed the crew to reach the voids beneath multiple slabs while controlling how the concrete moved.
Step 2: Pump
High-density polyurethane foam was injected beneath the concrete.
As the foam expanded, it filled empty spaces, restored support, and gradually lifted the lower half of the driveway and the three sidewalk panels toward their original elevations.
The lifting process was carefully monitored to achieve the best practical alignment without placing unnecessary stress on the existing concrete.
Step 3: Patch
After the slabs were lifted and stabilized, the small access holes were patched with a durable concrete patch.
The repaired areas were then cleaned and prepared for normal use.
Unlike newly poured concrete, polyurethane foam cures quickly. This helps reduce downtime and allows many repaired surfaces to be used shortly after the work is completed.
The Results
The completed repair improved both the lower driveway and the adjoining walkway.
